Banjo Singalong Vol. I
by Spencer Chandler
Recorded in a basement studio on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, this first album pays tribute to Pete Seeger’s early solo recordings with one banjo, one microphone, and one take. A blend of old, new, borrowed and blue, Spencer Chandler’s Banjo Singalong Vol. 1 is a time-capsule of songs sung from the preschools of midtown to the cafes of Brooklyn.
Songs performed, written and/or arranged by Spencer Chandler (banjo) with the support of Rolando Gori (Musa212). Recorded by Mike Cohen. Mastered by Ernest Adzentoivich.
